Manchester City pudo gritar campeón en la Champions League por primera vez en toda su historia, logrando poner una "Orejona" a su palmarés que se nutría hasta este sábado solo de títulos en el fútbol inglés y una Recopa europea. 

Los "Ciudadanos" se quedaron el título del máximo certamen de clubes del viejo continente tras superar por 1-0 a Inter de Milán en Estambul.
